Outdoor group meditation beneath a large banyan tree with thick hanging aerial roots. Rows of seated practitioners in white ritual clothing sit cross-legged on woven striped mats over a raised platform on reddish earth. Several wear orange or saffron shawls over white kurtas, and many have rudraksha malas around their necks and white vibhuti marks on their foreheads. Their eyes are closed and hands rest in their laps. A tripod stands at the right edge. No person is clearly identifiable as a person, and no leader is visibly distinguished.2006-10-11October 11 20062006-10-11October 11 20062006-10-11 +1 copiesOutdoor photograph of a large group of seated healers gathered beneath a broad, spreading tree on a dirt ground. Most men wear white shirts and white dhotis with rudraksha malas and name badges, while women wear white or blue-and-white saris, one in orange. Participants sit attentively with hands folded or resting on their laps, some looking toward the front. A small red-and-gold shrine canopy hangs near the trunk. Roughly thirty to forty visible people fill the frame.2006-10-08June 01 20092009-06-01December 05 20112011-12-05Outdoor group meditation beneath a large banyan tree with many aerial roots and sprawling branches. Most sit cross-legged on mats and cloths; front rows include a man with grey hair and rudraksha malas in a white shirt, a man in a yellow kurta with a gold-bordered dhoti, and men in white dhotis with sacred threads. Several bare-chested men in white dhotis stand at the back near a stage with striped cushions, and tropical plants surround the hall.2017-10-10 +1 copiesOctober 21 20062006-10-21 +1 copiesJuly 12 20062006-07-12August 19 20172017-08-19 +1 copiesA group of devotees sits cross-legged in meditation on a large black polished stone slab beside a massive banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. Most wear white shirts and white dhotis, with a boy in an orange shirt seated at the front, a man in a light blue shirt and another in maroon and white nearby. A woman in a pink sari stands among the trees behind them, and a seated figure in white clothes sits on a raised platform at the right beside a marigold garland hung on the tree. Sandy ground and a low concrete edge surround the scene.2008-02-23
