In the centre, a bald man with a long white beard wears a white kurta and white dhoti with a red border and red thread on his wrist, walking barefoot. Beside him on the left, a younger man in saffron-orange robes and a red shawl walks barefoot. On the right, an older man in cream clothes and a red shawl walks with glasses. Behind them, other men in white and yellow garments follow. Loudspeakers and a white screen stand against the wall at right.2010-06-05A photograph inside a plain brick hall with peach-coloured walls, white curtains and a projection screen on the right. Several people stand with palms pressed together in namaste, many in white dhotis and shirts. In the centre, a woman with long dark wavy hair wears a saffron-orange sari with an orange shawl and a rudraksha-style mala, walking forward between the rows. Others in orange and saffron robes, some with orange shawls, stand along the orange-covered floor mats. A colourful hanging decoration with orange tassels hangs near the screen. The setting suggests a satsang or ashram gathering.2009-12-30Indoor photograph of a religious ceremony in a pink-walled room with a framed deity print on the wall and a brass oil lamp at right. A man with long, swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, a dark rudraksha mala and an orange saffron wrap stands at left with hands folded. Beside him, a bald man in orange robes reaches out to clasp the hands of a bare-chested priest wearing a red shawl with gold border and white dhoti, who stands before brass vessels and a bell. A bearded man in orange robes sits at right, and a yellow-saree-clad woman is partly visible at far left. Several figures in the room are visible, and the scene appears to be a formal blessing or ordination exchange.2007-08-09November 25 20092009-11-25August 15 20092009-08-15April 06 20082008-04-06December 14 20062006-12-14A photograph of an indoor room with a tiled floor where a man in an orange saffron robe and orange dhoti with a red border stands barefoot at centre with palms pressed together in namaste. He has long dark hair, a beard and a rudraksha-style bead necklace. Behind him a line of people in white kurta and dhoti or white salwar clothing, several wearing orange lanyards with ID cards and small tricolour badges, stand barefoot with hands folded. A woman in white stands at right of the group. A man in an orange shirt and dark trousers stands arms crossed by the wall at right. A doorway and window with a wire mesh grille are behind them.2009-08-15Photograph taken from inside a doorway of a red-brick building looking into a covered hall with a white pillar and a sloping metal roof. In the centre, a man in orange robes holds an open book or booklet with an orange cover, standing barefoot in front of a bed-like table. Around him, several men wear orange robes, one with a full beard in orange, and others wear white kurta-style clothes with yellow scarves. In the foreground, two people stand with their backs to the camera, one in orange and one in white with an orange shawl. The central figure has short dark hair, is clean-shaven, and wears an orange shawl; no distinctive a person cues such as long swept-back hair, crown or malas are clearly visible, so identity is uncertain.2009-11-16A photograph of an indoor room with pale grey walls and a wall panel of small golden-brown shelves on the upper right. A long-haired man in an orange robe with a red undershirt sits center on a chair, gesturing with his right hand as he speaks. To his left, a man in a white kurta with a yellow shawl sits with palms pressed together. Behind them, a bearded man in orange with a rudraksha mala and a standing younger man in orange with a sash look on. On the right, an older bald man in orange with glasses sits with hands folded in greeting on a red floral cushioned chair, beside a tray of fruit and a water bottle. Five people are visible.2009-08-03
