November 05 20102010-11-05A photograph of a temple aarti in a plain whitewashed hall with a corrugated metal roof and speakers mounted on the walls. Two standing men in white dhotis and white kurtas hold up large brass multi-wick aarti lamps with flames blazing, each lamp tilted toward the upper frame. The standing man on the left wears an orange shawl over his shoulders; the man in the centre also wears an orange shawl and looks upward. Several boys in white clothes with a red-and-white marking on their dhotis sit cross-legged on the floor in the foreground and background, and one boy on the right is seated and watching. Brass puja vessels stand on the floor at the lower left, and an orange-robed person sits near a small table behind them. The page indicates a person was at this event, but the standing figures' appearance does not clearly establish that identity, so the candidate is left uncertain.2007-10-04February 16 20092009-02-16October 15 20072007-10-15A photograph of an aarti ceremony in a plain whitewashed hall with a corrugated metal roof.
