A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-saffron robe and matching orange turban, with a long rudraksha-style bead necklace, sitting on a red cloth-covered seat on a mat. A young woman in a white top with blue checked pattern kneels before him, hands on the floor, while a woman in a yellow and orange checked sari with a red bindi stands bending forward beside them. Several onlookers stand around in white dhotis, green and pink saris, and light clothing, some with hands folded. The scene appears to be a devotional darshan-type gathering indoors.July 28 20082008-07-28A photograph of a darshan line where a figure in orange robes and an orange head wrap, with long dark hair and a bead necklace, extends a hand over a young boy in a white shirt. Behind them, women in a pale blue sari and a red-and-gold sari stand close, one woman in white with an orange lanyard at the left edge, and men in white shirts and a purple garment stand in the background. The orange-robed figure is a probable Swamiji by appearance: long swept-back hair, orange head wrap and saffron robes, with a bead necklace; this is a candidate, so the swamiji field is in_person.2010-02-17A crowded indoor gathering in a white-walled hall decorated with hanging cloth and bunting. In the right foreground, a man in an orange turban and orange robe, with a green leafy garland with white flowers, sits with his back partly toward the camera, his face turned to the left. Around him, a large crowd in predominantly white clothing presses close. A woman in a cream sari with a gold border and a white flower in her hair stands at left, and a woman in a yellow-gold sari kneels in the lower centre. A man in a white shirt and white trousers with a rudraksha-style mala points toward the group, and a man in a blue-and-white checked shirt bends forward among the devotees.2007-02-06January 10 20092009-01-10A seated figure in an orange-saffron turban and orange robe with a red cloth draped over the lap sits on a mat, smiling, while a kneeling man in a white shirt and white dhoti leans forward with palms pressed together in greeting. Beside the kneeling man, a woman in a yellow sari and glasses kneels, and standing devotees in white and green saris and shirts surround them. A small brass dish with white substance and a yellow fruit or offering sit on the floor. The seated figure has distinctive saffron turban and robes, a person candidate, though the appearance is only moderately clear.2003-12-19A photograph of a crowd of devotees gathered closely around a figure in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange head wrap, seen from behind, with a green leaf and white flower garland draped over the shoulders. A woman in a cream sari with a maroon blouse leans in with her hands pressed together in namaste, while another woman in a white sari with a yellow ribbon rosette bends forward with palms joined. A man in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala places a hand on the figure's arm. Other women in orange, teal and white saris stand behind, and more people fill the background under a tent with orange hangings. The figure's face is not visible, so the candidate is shown only from behind and cannot be confirmed.2007-02-06November 25 20062006-11-25February 06 20072007-02-06January 12 20072007-01-12October 15 20082008-10-15A photograph of a ritual scene inside a hall with a plain grey floor. A man in an orange dhoti and orange shawl with a red border sits cross-legged on a carved wooden chair with long, dark, swept-back hair, a red forehead mark and a rudraksha mala around his neck. A devotee in a white sari and orange shawl kneels and bows with her head to the floor before him. Behind them, several people in white garments and orange shawls stand or bend near a small brass bowl, a yellow box and a wooden rod on the floor. At lower right, steel trays hold green leaf packets with small paper tags. The swamiji candidate is shown with cues of long swept-back hair, orange ceremonial clothing and rudraksha mala, so he is identified only as a probable Swamiji by appearance.2006-10-21
