The person has long dark matted hair falling to the waist, bare shoulders, a wide garland of white and pink flowers across the upper back, and copper-coloured bangles on the upper arms and wrists. The background shows gold-leaf foliage and a deep red curtain, with a white stone pedestal carved with figures on the right. The person appears to be a devotee or sannyasi performing a ritual before the deity image.2016-11-13December 20 20172017-12-20A photograph taken from behind of a figure standing in a dark setting, with long dark hair falling down the back. The figure wears a rust-red wrap around the waist, a dark beaded band across the upper arms, gold bangles and an arm band. One hand rests on the hip while the other holds a tall ornate trident. Several gold tridents stand upright on the right, and smaller tridents with a small metal bowl and a glowing oil lamp sit on the left beside a bronze pedestal. A shadow of a large crowned head is cast on the dark wall behind. The figure's body is seen only from the back, with no face visible.2021-03-23
