A photograph of an outdoor ritual at a temple-like courtyard with a crowd of saffron-clad participants. In the foreground, a man in a maroon-red dhoti and pink-and-white flower garland stands with palms pressed together in namaste, his forehead marked with white tilak. Beside him, a man bent low in an orange cloth with long dreadlocks works at a stone pit or base, while a bare-chested man with a long grey-streaked braid and gold necklace holds a dhoti and beats a small drum. Behind them, rows of people in orange robes, garlands and rudraksha beads stand on colourful striped mats. A tall red-and-white pole stands in the centre, with a coconut, fruits and brass plates of offerings nearby. The setting suggests a ritual or puja with ceremonial abhishekam-style offerings.
