June 25 20152015-06-25A crowded indoor hall with a red curtain at the right edge. Many young boys in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas stand among women in orange, red, yellow and blue saris, some with orange head coverings. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers leans in from the right holding a microphone, and a camera on a tripod is visible behind the crowd. A bald man in an orange-red garment stands at the back, and a pedestal fan sits near the centre. A purple logo sits in the top-left corner. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance; the scene shows a gurukul-style gathering with students and devotees.2015-06-25May 20 20132013-05-20A photograph of a line of saffron-robed sannyasis in a hall with pale pink walls and a polished floor. In the foreground a shaved-headed man in orange cloth with a red and gold border bends forward, reaching out his hands toward a smiling monk in a dark red shawl and rudraksha mala. Behind them, many orange-clad men stand shoulder to shoulder, some with hands extended in greeting, and a woman in white stands at the left edge. The scene suggests an ashram gathering or satsang, with a blue-and-white emblem at the upper left.2014-09-13A photograph of a crowded indoor hall during a procession or ritual gathering. In the foreground, a young bare-chested boy with shoulder-length dark hair and a white beaded necklace walks beside a child. Several young men in saffron-orange dhoti-style garments with gold borders move through the crowd, including one with a shaved head and a red tilak on the forehead smiling in an orange cloth, and another with long dark hair and an orange wrap. A man in white ritual clothing with a grey beard walks among them, and a bare-chested youth wears a sacred thread. Framed pictures hang on the pale peach walls, and recessed ceiling lights illuminate the room.2016-10-09October 09 20162016-10-09A photograph inside a hall with tiled floor and red-framed windows. A man with long swept-back dark hair, a crown-like ornament, a multicoloured garland of flowers, a heavy gold necklace and a rust-orange dhoti and shawl stands smiling in the centre. Probable Swamiji (probable) based on the long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and saffron-orange ceremonial dress; he is receiving or handing over small orange cloths from several shaven-headed boys in orange robes with white tripundra marks and rudraksha malas. Behind them priests in white dhotis and a standing man in a white shawl watch, and a crowd of onlookers in shirts stands at the back, several with folded arms. A young shaven-headed boy at right presses his palms together in greeting.2013-07-21A ceremonial gathering in an indoor hall with a screen and dark curtains behind. A central figure in a saffron-orange robe with a long dark rudraksha mala and a red forehead mark smiles and extends an arm toward a line of men in white dhotis and shawls. Several shaved-headed men in white and maroon or orange cloths stand around, and another man in an orange robe on the right holds a silver tray. A golden throne-like seat appears in the background, and a few people in white sit along the back wall. Prayer mats and small vessels are on the floor.2010-10-19June 25 20152015-06-25February 23 20162016-02-23February 23 20162016-02-23A large seated audience in an ornate hall, mostly in orange and saffron robes with rudraksha malas and white-clad attendees among them.
