Facing him, a smiling man in a white kurta with an orange-and-white patterned shawl and a rudraksha mala leans in close. The man on the left, wearing a rudraksha mala and a red tilak on his forehead, gestures with his right hand over a steel plate holding food and small white cups. The man on the right, with white horizontal stripes on his forehead and arms and an orange beaded necklace with a rudraksha mala, leans toward him attentively. A tripod and a power strip sit in the background, with more seated people partly visible at the right edge.2013-04-14 +2 copiesA smiling man in the foreground wears a white dhoti-style cloth with gold border, a rudraksha mala around his neck and a red tilak on his forehead, with his head shaved. The background is a dark red curtain and a pale panel.2011-11-07A photograph of several smiling men in a hall with pale pink walls during a ritual gathering. They wear rudraksha malas over reddish-maroon and saffron-orange cloth, with gold-edged saffron shawls and white tripundra marks on their foreheads and arms. The man in the centre-right holds a mala with both hands, and a man at left presses palms together. Men in orange cloth appear at the edges, and a bowed figure is at lower left.2014-09-13A photograph of a standing man in an orange wrap with a swept-back bun, a long rudraksha mala and a bare torso, reaching to touch the forehead of a smiling man in a white checked shirt with a name badge. Behind them, seated men in white dhotis with gold borders and mala beads watch, and a camera operator in a red shirt films with a tripod. A brass oil lamp with a lit flame stands at right and a white cooling unit at centre. The scene reads as an ashram blessing or initiation moment.2011-09-17
