Beside the murti a second dark stone figure is adorned with a garland of yellow, pink and purple flowers and green leaves. Behind him, a crowd of men in white shirts and dhotis, some wearing rudraksha-style brown beaded malas, watches closely. A brass tray of colourful flowers and a small bowl of liquid sit in the foreground, with another offering tray at the lower left. Metal scaffolding and a tin roof frame the scene. The figure in the red turban is a priest, not an identifiable candidate, so no a person identification is made.2014-06-29 +1 copiesPhotograph of a temple corridor with a crowd behind a railing. In the centre, a man in saffron-orange robes with a saffron head covering and a gold-beaded necklace stands with his palms pressed together at his chest, eyes lowered, before a large black stone deity statue draped in a garland of yellow and pink flowers. A man in an orange shawl and gold necklace kneels beside him, and another man in a white shirt holds a bundle of yellow and pink flowers. A green leaf and orange offering tray are visible at the lower left.2014-06-29A photograph inside a temple shrine doorway with a yellow and blue canopy and red and white flower decorations.
