A temple interior with a red carpet runner. A central man in a rust-brown dhoti with gold borders and a gold-coloured waist cloth walks forward, wearing a multi-strand gold and beaded necklace, bangles and a white forehead marking. Two men flank him in white or orange clothing with rudraksha malas and white forehead tilaks. On the left a woman in a red sari with folded hands follows, and on the right an older man in white holds a microphone. Behind them, a shrine holds a gold-framed deity murti with a red and pink backdrop, a kalasha and floral garlands, under a red and white canopy.2012-04-23April 23 20132013-04-23A photograph of a temple procession in an open-sided covered walkway with a corrugated metal roof. In the centre, a man in orange-saffron dhoti and shawl wears a long red and white flower garland and a large ornate gold-and-beaded necklace, with a white-and-red tilak on his forehead, smiling as he walks along a red carpet. Around him, men in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas carry long silver ceremonial staffs with ornate finials, and one holds a decorated staff topped with a canopy. Behind them stands an illuminated shrine with a deity murti under a decorated golden arch. On the far left, a bald man in white robes holds a microphone. Several people with white tilaks stand along the railings.2013-03-02A temple corridor with a red carpet and steel railings. In the foreground a man with long hair, white tilak and forehead marking, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti with a gold border and an orange shawl, walks with eyes lowered. A rudraksha mala and gold beaded necklace hang on his chest; the appearance is uncertain, so he is described only as a man in ceremonial saffron attire. Behind him a line of orange-robed followers, some with white-painted arms and foreheads, walk with palms pressed together in anjali. Beyond the railing, a shrine holds golden deity murtis, garlanded with flowers, under an ornate golden arch.2013-05-17May 24 20132013-05-24February 09 20122012-02-09A photograph inside a temple hall with red carpet runner between steel railings.
