In the centre, a smiling man with long dark hair and a white-and-red forehead mark wears an orange saffron wrap, a heavy gold necklace and gold armbands, and walks forward holding his hands at his waist. Behind him, several men in matching orange robes carry tall silver-topped staffs, and a figure in the right foreground holds a silver vessel with a red flower garland. A woman in black with her palms pressed together stands at the left beside a metal railing. Swamiji (probable) is the central figure, shown with long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and orange saffron clothing, leading the procession.2011-12-11 +1 copiesA group of saffron-robed sannyasis walks barefoot along a paved street in front of a temple gateway. The central man wears an orange dhoti and shawl with gold borders and a long ornate gold bead necklace, with a red bindi on his forehead. Around him, men in white dhotis with gold-bordered shawls and white-and-orange-clad monastics carry a small brass vessel and an orange cloth bag. Sandalwood tilaka marks cover several foreheads, and rudraksha malas hang on many chests. Behind them, a metal gate and shopfronts line the street. Appearance cues alone are not sufficient to identify the central figure, so his role is described as a saffron-clad sannyasi leading the procession.2011-09-26December 16 20112011-12-16A man in saffron-orange robes with a gold-trimmed border walks along a corridor past a metal handrail, wearing a silver beaded necklace, silver armlets and bangles. In front, a man in an orange robe and layered rudraksha malas, with a red tilak on his forehead, bracelets on his wrists, walks ahead with his arms swinging. Behind him, a shaven-headed man in orange and another figure in orange with a red sash follow. On the left, a man in a white dhoti with gold border and rudraksha mala carries a small object.
