Night-time photograph on a dirt track in a dark rural setting, with trees silhouetted against the sky. A dark SUV with headlights on is driving toward the camera, with a silver minivan parked to the left and a green light glowing in the distance. In the foreground, four men walk in procession: the front man in a white dhoti holds a tall yellow-gold banner pole, a man in an orange robe walks beside him, and two men in white kurta-style clothing follow, one holding a multicoloured parasol-style umbrella with tassels and emblems. The scene suggests an arrival or procession, with a few people visible in white and orange clothing.

A night procession on a dirt road lit by a distant street lamp. Around a dozen men in white dhotis and shirts carry a palanquin shaped like a small shrine with a red cloth draped over it, under a multicoloured umbrella on a pole. Two men at the front hold a long flag or banner on a pole, and a man in a white sari-style garment walks among them. A car with its trunk open sits at left, and a man in white with a yellow shawl stands at far left, photographing the procession. The scene is a temple procession or palanquin ratha carried through the night.

A central figure in an orange-red robe with a flower garland walks between two attendants in white dhotis and shirts, one of whom holds a tall ornate umbrella with blue, green and gold panels and small bells. Two more attendants in white hold yellow and red decorated parasols, and an orange-robed figure walks at the right. Bamboo fencing, thatched huts and a construction scaffold frame the scene.
