October 10 20102010-10-10Close-up photograph of a person's bare feet standing on an ornate polished silver tray with embossed floral and geometric patterns, placed on a red velvet cloth. The person wears a green sari with a glittering embroidered border. Orange-coloured rubber toe-ring style fittings sit between the toes on the tray. Behind the tray, gilded ornamental carved metalwork is visible. The feet appear to be in a ritual padapuja setting, as suggested by the silver tray and gold backdrop.2010-10-10October 10 20102010-10-10Close photo of a pair of bare feet standing in a silver tray during a padapuja ritual. The feet belong to a person wearing orange-saffron garments, and the tray holds a pink flower and two golden foot-shaped ornaments with red stones. A red and gold embroidered cushion sits beneath the tray, and a silver vessel with an elephant-head handle lies to the right on a white cloth. Behind is a gold-tasselled satin draping and a patterned rug. The lower legs and feet are the only human parts visible.2009-09-10October 10 20102010-10-10Close-up photograph of bare feet in a silver tray resting on a deep red velvet cloth. The feet are wearing orange-red robes with a gold trim visible above. A small gold cup sits among the petals and gold ornate metalwork frames the lower right. Behind, two blurred people in orange robes sit with palms pressed together in namaskar. This appears to be a padapuja, a ritual washing and worship of feet, with the feet of a seated figure being honoured.2014-01-22Close-up photograph of bare feet resting on an orange saffron cloth draped over a golden surface, with two small silver pots or vessels placed on the cloth. A hand in a dark sleeve gathers the fabric at left, and a red-and-gold striped garment is visible at upper right. The blurred background shows golden bokeh. Only feet and hands are visible; no full person can be seen.2009-12-22Close-up photograph of a seated person's bare feet resting on an ornate silver-coloured throne or dais with repoussé floral and scroll carving. The person wears a rust-red garment with gold zari borders at the hem. Behind the feet a red draped cloth and a silver carved pedestal are visible. Only the lower body and feet are shown, so no face or upper body is in frame, and no identity can be established from the visible evidence.2018-03-25July 25 20122012-07-25 +2 copies
