A photograph of a ritual abhishekam at a stone altar or lingam platform. Several shaved-headed men in white dhotis and white upper cloths sit around the stone, pouring liquid from metal vessels and bowls. A central man in white with a rudraksha-style necklace and a crown-like headpiece, and seated near the front, is positioned at the center of the group. Brass and silver vessels, a kalasha, and small bowls rest on the stone. Behind them, people in white and orange clothing watch from a seated gathering.
