June 21 2004 Himalayas Yatra - Gangotri, Gaurikund and Kedarnath2004-06-21A photograph of a procession in a mountain town during rain, with green hills and tin-roofed buildings behind. A central man in saffron-orange robes and a saffron turban wears long dark hair, a dense rudraksha mala and a large gold pendant, and is sheltered under a yellow and blue cloth held aloft by men on either side. Several other men in orange robes surround him, one holding a cane and another holding a small brass bell. In the foreground a woman in a black head covering, orange shawl and black rain jacket, with a red forehead mark, looks down. The date 21-6-2004 is printed vertically on the left edge.2004-06-21A photograph of a single person seated on a rocky, gravelly mountainside under low cloud. He wears an orange turban, an orange wrap and robe, red gloves, a red scarf over the lower face, and a brown wooden rudraksha-style mala around his neck. He holds a long wooden staff and wears dark hiking boots with red socks. Behind him a steep scree slope rises into mist. A red date stamp reading 16 6 2004 appears in the lower left corner, and a faint diagonal copyright line runs along the left edge.2004-06-19 +1 copiesA photograph of a group of devotees in saffron and orange shawls outdoors near a stone wall and trees. In the foreground, a man in a bright orange down jacket, a peach knit cap and a long dark swept-back hair sits on a stone ledge holding a wooden walking staff, with a red cloth on the ledge beside him. Standing behind are men in cream jackets and orange shawls, a bearded older man wrapped in orange, and a man in an orange cap holding a long staff. Several women in orange scarves sit at the left edge. A copyright overlay is present but not transcribed. The appearance of the seated man in orange with long hair and a knit cap is consistent with a person in person on the Himalaya Yatra, though the image is small and his features are uncertain.2006-06-01June 2004 Himalayan Yatra - Gomukh2004-06-18 +1 copiesA photograph of a hillside pilgrimage path at dusk with a forested mountain behind. A figure in an orange robe and orange cap walks centre-frame along a concrete walkway, holding a long staff or rod. Around him, several men in orange and white clothing and dark jackets stand and crouch along the path, with a man in a grey-white head wrap at left and a man in a white cap behind. A wire and pole run overhead beside a corrugated roof at right. The scene shows a procession-like walk in the mountains.2005-05-25June 2004 Himalayan Yatra - Gomukh2004-06-18 +1 copiesA man in a saffron-orange turban and loose orange robes sits on a white concrete ledge in steep green mountains, holding a tall wooden walking staff in his left hand and resting his right hand on his hip. He wears a long rudraksha mala across his chest and sandals. Terraced hillside villages and a rocky ridge fill the background under a pale sky. +1 copiesJune 16 2004 - Rishikesh-Guptakashi-Uttarkashi2004-06-16 +1 copiesHimalaya Yatra - 2004-2005 PhotosJune 01 20052005-06-01 +1 copiesPhotograph at a stone temple entrance in the Himalayan hills, dated 21 June 2004 in red digits on the left edge. A man in an orange turban and orange robes, with a long rudraksha mala and bangles, smiles while adjusting his mala beside the stone doorway. Behind him, several devotees in orange shawls stand, one in a green top with hands pressed together, another with hands folded in namaste. Men in jackets watch from a railed platform above under a corrugated roof, and a fire pit with offerings lies on the ground nearby. The figure in orange with rudraksha and turban is an appearance-based probable Swamiji candidate; the rest are devotees.2004-06-21
