Gold-ornate stage set with a large golden throne in the centre, flanked by carved golden lion sculptures and a golden canopy. Seated on the throne is a printed or painted portrait of a bearded figure in saffron robes and a white turban with rudraksha mala, hand raised in blessing, shown as a depiction on the throne. To the right, a woman in a red sari and red-brown robe with garlands sits with palms pressed together in prayer, and a robed figure beside her also holds palms together. To the left, a woman in white and a man in white dhoti with orange-saffron shawl and beads sit with hands folded in namaskar. Gold lion statues and a red curtain complete the setting.2017-08-26July 08 20172017-07-08 +1 copiesJuly 15 20172017-07-15 +1 copiesA photograph of a satsang on a raised stage draped in red fabric, with a grey stone temple-style backdrop. A seated man in orange-red robes, a dark cap and a gold necklace sits on an ornate golden throne with lion motifs and a large multicoloured arch behind him, smiling as he addresses the gathering. A second seated figure in orange robes sits on a smaller golden throne to the left, and two monks in orange sit nearby. A gold kalasha stands at the right edge beside floral garlands on the backdrop. In the foreground, devotees in white and red-bordered saris and white dhotis sit on white cloth, some with hands folded in namaskar, and a man in white holds a musical instrument. Marigold garlands and lamps decorate the stage.2016-01-03July 07 20092009-07-07March 10 20172017-03-10A stage at a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam discourse features three seated people before red drapery and ornate gold carved panels. At centre, a woman in a cream and gold sari with a long braid and gold jewellery speaks into a handheld microphone and holds a framed portrait. To the right, a figure in a rust-orange turban, rudraksha mala and orange shawl sits on a gold throne with a cobra-hood canopy and tiger-skin cushion, a golden trident beside him. Their presentation matches the appearance cues for a person, seated on the raised throne. To the left, a young man in white dhoti with yellow border and rudraksha mala sits cross-legged on a red cushioned platform. Golden figurines, a lion statue and a brass vessel stand in the foreground on a colourful woven mat.2017-07-08A photograph of a man seated on an ornate gold throne with a red cushioned back, wearing a white dhoti-style garment draped over his bare upper body and a long rudraksha mala around his neck, with a red tilak on his forehead. Several women and a man in white and orange clothing sit on the floor in front, some with long dark hair, one holding a small cup, with brass oil lamps lit on either side and a tray of offerings nearby. The backdrop is a large painted temple-style scene with red curtains, pillars and a painted female figure in a purple and red sari.2011-01-28May 02 20142014-05-02A seated man in an orange saffron robe and a long orange-beaded rudraksha-style necklace sits on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet cushion, in a ceremonial hall. Before him, two men and two women in white ritual clothes sit on the floor around a gold-embossed altar tray with flowers and offerings. A man in white dhoti with a sacred thread gestures toward the tray while a younger man in white with a green-bordered cloth attends beside him. Tall brass oil lamps stand on either side, and a large backdrop shows a decorated deity image with garlands and a red-clad figure. A dark curtain sits behind the stage.2011-02-25 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated man in an orange saffron robe with a long orange shawl and a garland of flowers, sitting on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-like finials and garlands of marigolds and purple flowers. He wears a rudraksha-style necklace and his long dark hair is swept back, with a small crown visible above him; cues are suggestive but not conclusive for a person. Seated before him on the floor are devotees in white and cream traditional clothes, several with palms pressed together in namaskar, and a row of brass plates with fruit and flowers in front. A woman in a white sari stands at the left edge near a second empty gold throne draped in garlands, with a gold trident-like staff behind the throne. Dark blue curtains and a pale wall form the stage backdrop.2010-10-18 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple-style stage set with gold and red drapery, gold canopies, and garlands in marigold and multicolour. Centre, a seated figure in an orange-red robe and red turban sits on a red cushioned chair before a silver-framed backdrop, with a golden bull (nandi) behind him and a deity murti on the right seated on a green-draped gold throne. Two young men in orange dhoti-style clothing stand at left, holding ritual items near a gold throne decorated with garlands. A small oil lamp and a silver bowl sit on the stage floor. The scene reads as a ceremonial puja setting.2017-11-11
