Volunteers serve free meals (annadan) from a stainless steel food counter under a corrugated roof at the ashram. A man in white shirt and white dhoti, wearing spectacles and a rudraksha-style necklace, holds out a paper plate of rice while a woman in orange blouse and white sari, with a red-orange beaded mala, dishes food from a tray. A woman in white sari wears a hairnet and gloves, and a bare-chested man in white dhoti and white shawl with rudraksha beads serves from the far side. Rows of pale-clad devotees stand behind the counter.

A serving line inside a metal-roofed, open-sided shed with red-painted struts, where volunteers in white hairnets serve food from steel chafing trays. A bare-chested man with a rudraksha-style necklace and gold bangle wears a white dhoti with a gold border and spoons rice from a tray. Other servers in white dhotis and hairnets work along the counter, which holds rice, yellow dal-like curry and brown gravy. A woman with glasses at left and a man in a yellow shirt at lower right handle food, while a man in white dhoti stands at right. Scattered tarpaulins sit at the left edge.

A food serving line under a corrugated metal roof beside an orange-brown wall. In the foreground a shaved-headed devotee in an orange wrap, rudraksha mala and bead armband, wearing a grey head cover, stands at a steel tray of rice and curries. Behind the counter, men in white shirts and white caps serve food with ladles to a row of people, and an elderly man in white on the right waits with a white shawl. The scene reflects annadan, free meals offered at the ashram.

A photo of an annadan food service line under a metal roof beside a terracotta-coloured wall. A figure in saffron-orange robes, with a grey head covering and a long rudraksha mala, stands at the left facing the steel serving trays of rice, curry and other dishes. Behind the counter, volunteers in white shirts and white caps serve food with ladles, and a man in white dhoti and shawl stands at the right edge. The saffron-robed figure shows no distinctive presentation cues beyond the grey head covering and rudraksha mala, so identity is uncertain.

A communal annadan serving line in a bright indoor hall. A bald man in orange saffron robes with long rudraksha malas stands at left holding a steel plate of food. Beside him, two young men in white dhotis with saffron borders and rudraksha malas hold steel plates; the one in the centre has a sandalwood or kumkum mark on his forehead. Women in white saris and hairnets serve from copper and steel vessels on a long table, with brass arched railings and pink flowers in the foreground.

A crowded festival scene under a white tent with colourful striped umbrellas overhead. In the foreground a bare-chested man with a long swept-back hair, an orange-red turban, a gold-and-bead necklace and gold armlets stands at a long clear serving counter of food trays filled with rice. Beside him a man in a white kurta wears a red rudraksha mala and serves from the counter, while a woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha mala and red bindi stands nearby. Other devotees in white and saffron dress crowd behind, and a camera operator films at the right. The swept-back-hair and turban figure shows a person cues, but his role is a server-like figure at the food line.

A buffet serving line in a large hall with a drop ceiling and bright lights, with a serving counter of stainless steel trays holding rice dishes and vegetable curries. A shaved-headed young man in an orange robe with a red-and-orange shawl and rudraksha beads on his arm and neck serves food with gloved hands. Beside him a man in a white shirt and glasses serves, and a woman in white with a red mala leans over the counter. On the right a bald man in a white shirt with an orange shawl and glasses stands near a woman in white. Other people in white and red cloths stand and sit in the background, and red banners hang on the walls. This is communal food distribution, annadan-style serving.
