Outdoor ritual gathering at an ashram courtyard with palm trees and a red wall behind. Saffron-robed sannyasis stand with hands folded in anjali mudra, and many young saffron-clad boys with shaved heads and white tilak on their foreheads stand among them. Foreground figures include a shaved-headed man in white dhoti with gold border and rudraksha mala holding a silver vessel, a man in rust-coloured robe with orange shawl and rudraksha malas, a bespectacled man in saffron robe holding a long wooden staff, and a man in saffron robe wearing a marigold and red-flower garland. No one is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance; roles are priest, sannyasis and devotees during a padapuja-style ceremony. Several dozen people are visible.

At centre, a man in a rust-red robe with a white flower garland and a red-and-white garland, hands folded in namaste, walks beside a tall golden pole. Behind him, shirtless men in orange dhotis with white tilak marks walk in step, some wearing rudraksha malas. A devotee at left holds a deity murti decorated with a flower garland and gold ornaments. Red and orange powder is spread on the ground in the foreground, and a red umbrella and mirror-work parasol stand at left. Crowd members in white dhotis and orange robes appear in the background.

Evening procession outdoors before a temple, with a large decorated deity murti or chariot canopy with orange and gold drapery in the background. A man with long swept-back dark hair, a white forehead band, a red-and-white flower garland and an orange robe with gold trim stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, eyes closed. Beside him, several men with shaved heads, white tilak and orange robes with gold borders, some with rudraksha malas and gold-trimmed shawls, stand with hands folded in prayer. A young girl in orange with a rudraksha mala and a pendant holds a small bag, and a woman at right holds her hands together in greeting. Orange flags on poles stand behind the group under trees, with a stone statue visible at right. The probable Swamiji cues are the long hair, flower garland and orange robe, and the figure is the one at centre-right.

A photograph of a central figure in a rust-red robe with a rudraksha mala across the chest and a garland of white flowers with red and yellow blossoms, palms pressed together in greeting namaste with a small red bindi on the forehead. Around him stand many young male renunciants with shaved heads and white horizontal tilak marks, wearing saffron-orange and red cloth, several with folded hands, some with rudraksha malas. On the right a man in a red-and-gold dhoti with a rudraksha mala and a small headset microphone stands with hands clasped.
