A young boy in a red dhoti and red shawl sits cross-legged on the floor before a temple shrine, holding a grey book or sheet and reading from it. Behind him stands a large golden-coloured deity murti with four arms, a tall orange crown and red and white flower garlands, flanked by a second figure in blue and maroon robes. Silver vessels, a kalasha-style bowl and small lamps sit on the floor. To the right, a smaller figure in orange and red robes with a bead necklace stands with hands folded in a gilded niche against green drapery. The scene is a temple puja setting, with the figures are statues rather than living people.

A young boy in a red dhoti and red upper cloth sits cross-legged before a temple shrine, reading from an open book held in his lap, with a small tilak on his forehead and a rudraksha-style mala around his neck. Behind him, a large gilded shrine holds a deity murti with a tall orange turban, a green cloth backdrop and a red and yellow garland. The murti holds a trident-like staff and shows a jeweled bejeweled ornamental armour. Beside it, a smaller standing figure in a brown and orange garment with a long necklace is set in a niche with a green backdrop. Brass and silver puja vessels, a lemon, and a green leaf sit on the platform in front of the boy.

Two standing figures with red turbans and gold ornaments stand atop a seated figure with a golden face and a red-and-white garland, framed by a golden arch and green drape. A seated priest in saffron-orange cloth with bare shoulder and sacred markings sits at the left, hands together. A standing figure in orange robes stands in a side niche at right beside a brass oil lamp. Garlands of red flowers adorn the murtis, and brass vessels and offerings sit on the platform.

The male figure wears a red turban and holds a trident and drum, the female figure wears an orange-red sari and gold crown, both adorned with garlands and ornaments. In front, a seated priest in an orange-red robe with a white forehead mark and bare upper arm sits before a sacred linga, with a multicoloured flower garland, kalasha-style vessels and brass lamps arranged around it. To the right stands a small figure in orange robes near a lit oil lamp. Carved stone pillars frame the scene. One physical priest is visible.

A small linga-form image sits on a pedestal decorated with red and orange flower garlands. To the right stands a smaller figure in a green-curtained niche wearing a red cloth and a bead necklace. A shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange robes sits at lower left, reading from a sheet of white paper, with brass vessels and oil lamps before the shrine.

Photograph of a temple shrine with two large painted deity figures seated on a raised platform within a gilded arch. The central figure wears a red and orange turban, a white and red garland and a jewelled necklace, and holds a damaru-like drum in one hand. The seated female figure beside him wears a red sari, a crown and a heavy pearl necklace. Both are draped with red and yellow marigold garlands. Below them is a blue and gold cloth, a silver kalasha-like vessel and brass oil lamps. A smaller standing figure in orange robes, wearing a rudraksha-style mala, stands in a niche to the right. Gold curtains hang behind, and the setting is a stone temple with ornate carvings. The figures are statues, not living people.

Inside a temple shrine with gilded arch and green drape, a seated pair of deity murtis adorned with garlands of red and yellow flowers and gold necklaces sits behind a black stone shivalinga on a black pedestal. Two young boys in maroon dhotis attend the shrine: one at left bends toward brass vessels, the other at left edge gestures near the lingam. At right, a figure in saffron-orange robes holds an open book and chants or reads, beside a metal lamp stand. A small statue in an arched niche to the right wears an orange turban and garland.
