Close view of an elaborate ritual arrangement on an ornate gold-tone base. Multiple silver-toned plates hold small silver bowls filled with orange turmeric paste or yellow offerings, arranged around red hibiscus flowers, pink and red roses, white plumeria, and marigold-like orange blossoms. Conical white offerings topped with red hibiscus sit on several trays. A person in an orange and gold-bordered garment stands at left, with a hand reaching toward the arrangement; a white-clad figure is partly visible at top right. Appears to be a puja or abhishekam preparation with flowers and turmeric offerings.2013-09-05Close view of a ritual puja arrangement on a brass tray. A figure in an orange saffron garment with a red flower garland stands at left, hand extended over a central brass tray heaped with marigolds, pink and purple flowers, and gold-colored leaves. Around it sit multiple silver trays holding small silver bowls filled with yellow and orange liquids, purple and pink flowers, and white offerings. A woman in a teal sari with gold border and bangles sits at upper right, hands folded. Only partially visible hands and limbs of others appear at the edges. The setting suggests a ritual abhishekam or puja offering.2013-01-31August 15 20132013-08-15September 08 20132013-09-08 +1 copies
