A photograph of a communal meal at an ashram hall with a woven mat floor. In the foreground, two seated men in white dhotis and orange shawls face each other; the man on the right, smiling, receives food from an outstretched hand of a standing man in white with a gold-bordered cloth. Banana-leaf plates hold rice, sweets and fried items, and a brass pot sits among them. Behind, a row of people in white clothes with orange shawls stand with hands joined, and a woman in white with an orange shawl sits at the left. A wooden staff stands upright in the centre.

Four people sit on a grey tiled floor in a room with a blue wall and a blackboard, eating from banana leaves. On the far left a man in white shirt and trousers works over a leaf with food; next to him a man in saffron-orange robe and bead necklace serves rice, with his hand on the leaf. A man in white dhoti and shirt with a rudraksha mala sits eating from a leaf. On the right a woman in an orange and yellow patterned sari with red-bordered blouse and red bindi eats with her hand. Steel vessels, a green pot, and a bucket of rice sit on the floor. A standing man in white and orange shawl stands behind, and a red flag hangs on the wall.

Seated devotees in white dhotis and white shirts with maroon-striped borders eat a communal meal on banana leaves laid in a row on a tiled floor. A man at left in a white dhoti and shawl, with a rudraksha mala, serves rice and curry from a steel pot. Several others sit cross-legged eating with their hands, with small paper cups of liquid beside the leaves. A blue and orange striped mat reads DHYANAPEETAM. Behind them, orange cloth covers a bench and other seated people are visible.
