Two whitewashed stone shrines stand in the foreground, each with red-painted base bands and a yellow circular marking on the front of the spire; a small yellow-orange flower garland sits at the top of the left shrine. A woman in a green sari walks between the shrines. Behind them, a thatched-roof hut, a banana plant, and clothes drying on a line. Several women in colourful saris are visible at the far left. In the foreground, bare trees and dry brush frame the scene. Two small whitewashed shrine-like structures stand at the left and right edges; the right one has a yellow disc on its face, and the left one has red-and-white painted trim. Several people are visible in the scene, none of them clearly identifiable as a person.2007-03-03June 20 20152015-06-20A man in a red-orange dhoti and matching shawl stands barefoot beside a large banyan tree trunk with hanging aerial roots, wearing a multi-strand rudraksha mala.
