A photograph of a formal welcome inside a tented hall with a blue carpet and striped red and yellow drapery overhead. A seated figure in an orange saffron robe and orange turban sits at right on a red-cushioned gold-framed bench, holding a folded cloth. Beside him, a man in cream kurta and trousers sits in a gold-armed chair, gesturing toward the figure in orange. Two men in light shirts sit at left on beige cushioned seats, one with grey hair in a light blue shirt. Standing at centre, a man in a pink shirt raises a long white flower garland, while a man in a white dhoti and cap stands behind a brass pot of fruit. Several men in white shirts and dark trousers stand around the room. The orange-robed figure appears to be a person by the saffron robe, orange turban and seated position, but the appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm.

On the right, a man in a cream kurta sits on a gold-framed red-cushioned sofa, next to a man in a light blue kurta, black waistcoat and white cap. Several standing men in shirts, trousers and ties watch from behind.

Around them, a man in a dark jacket leans over the sofa, and several men in orange and white shawls and a grey-suited older man stand by. A cameraman with a video camera is at left. A seated figure in a cream and gold shawl and a red-maroon turban sits on an ornate gold-trimmed throne under a white tent with pink-edged valance and flower arrangements at top right. He holds a silver trident-shaped staff while a man in a white shirt and dark trousers bends forward to receive or touch the staff, with a brass tray of fruit and offerings nearby. Behind, two saffron-robed attendants wear rudraksha malas, and other men in pale shirts stand on green carpet. The scene appears to be a darshan or blessing. a person: the seated figure in cream shawl, red turban and rudraksha-adorned attendants suggests a person, though the face is not used for identification.
