Shiva wears a crown, a red-and-white headband and a white dhoti-like cloth; Parvati wears a green and red silk sari and a tall jeweled crown. A figure in an orange-saffron cloth, bare-backed with long hair, pours or applies liquid from a silver vessel onto the deities. The male figure wears a white dhoti with a brown-and-white headcloth, a silver-embellished jewelled necklace and a pink lotus in one hand; the female figure wears a jewelled silver necklace and a tall crown decorated with multicoloured stones and flowers. A small figure stands in front at the base, and a bright lamp glows at the left edge. Scattered flower petals cover the floor in front of the deities.2006-11-04A photograph of a temple worship scene in which a priest in white dhoti and a white upper cloth, shaved-headed and seen from behind, performs aarti with a lit lamp before two gilded deity murtis seated on a throne-like dais. The central murti wears an orange turban, a rudraksha-style mala and gold jewellery; the murti on the right wears a jewelled crown, a green silk sari and ornate pearl necklaces. Both are draped in garlands of yellow, red, purple and green flowers, and a green cloth canopy with gold trim frames them. A small Shiva lingam stands in the foreground near a trident-shaped ritual implement.2011-12-01Night-time photograph of a Shiva-Parvati deity murti pair, gilded and richly ornamented with crowns, red and white garments, and yellow-and-red marigold garlands. The seated Shiva figure holds a trident and a ritual implement, and the goddess beside him wears a red and green sari. A bare-chested man in saffron-orange cloth with long hair leans in at the lower left, pouring or offering over the base near a black sequined vessel, consistent with an abhishekam-style ritual. The base is carved stone and the background is dark stone architecture.2007-02-16February 16 20072007-02-16November 05 20062006-11-05October 10 20062006-10-10February 16 20072007-02-16
