2004 - sacred collections uncategorised2004 - sacred collections uncategorisedA photograph of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes wearing a long multicoloured flower garland with pink, purple and green accents, with long swept-back dark hair, extending his right hand in blessing toward a young man kneeling on the left in a mustard-yellow shirt and rudraksha mala. Beside them, a second man in orange shawl over white clothes kneels with a red tilak on his forehead. Behind, a standing man in white dhoti and shirt watches. A white cushioned seat, a potted palm, an electric fan and red drapes with gold borders form the backdrop of an indoor hall. The seated figure bears distinctive saffron robes, a long flower garland and long swept-back hair, consistent with the page's Swamiji presence, though the appearance is only probable.2006-10-21 +1 copiesA seated man on an ornate gold throne wears a bright orange turban and orange shawl, with a red bindi on his forehead and a long garland of pink rose petals draped over his shoulders. He smiles and looks toward the left. A young boy in a white outfit stands at the left edge, leaning in. The backdrop is a painted banyan-tree scene in blue-green tones. Based on the visible cues of orange turban, orange shawl and rose garland on a gold throne, this figure is a probable Swamiji, seated in a place of honour.2010-08-08A photograph at an evening darshan where a man in an orange turban and sleeveless orange top with long dark hair leans forward and reaches out his hand toward a small toddler in a beige dress held by a man in glasses and a white shirt. Swamiji (probable): the long swept-back hair, orange turban and orange robe match the page's identification, and he is the central figure receiving devotees. Around them, older men in white shirts and a man in a light blue shirt watch closely, a woman in white with orange shawl and rudraksha mala stands at left, and a tray with coloured gifts and a red box sits at lower right. Orange hangings and a few onlookers fill the background.2010-02-172004 - sacred collections uncategorisedMay 09 20042004-05-09A seated figure in an orange turban and orange sleeveless top, with long dark hair, places a hand on the head of a small boy in a white and beige striped shirt at a darshan. Around them, men in white kurtas, a man in a grey striped shirt, and a man with a white mustache and orange shawl stand close, some with hands on the boy's shoulders. Orange fabric and an out-of-focus orange backdrop fill the background.2010-02-172004 - sacred collections uncategorisedJuly 28 20082008-07-28A photograph of a seated man in an orange sleeveless top and orange-gold shawl, wearing a long pink and white flower garland, with long dark hair, placing his hands on the head of a young boy in a white shirt and white trousers who stands before him. Behind them a man in a yellow vest and white dhoti smiles, and a woman in a cream sari with gold border holds a small object and a metal tool near the boy. A brass or metal tray with offerings sits on an orange cloth. The seated man resembles the a person, given his long hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold-bordered shawl, and is blessing the child in a seated blessing setting.2010-01-20July 28 20082008-07-28
