A large group of men seated cross-legged on a red mat in a temple courtyard at night, performing a ritual sitting in meditation. Most are bare-chested with white dhoti-style cloths edged in gold, white shoulder cloths, and rudraksha malas around their necks; some have white sacred markings on their foreheads and bodies. Several keep their eyes closed and hands in mudra or resting on their laps. Behind them, oil lamps and decorated brass vessels stand near illuminated temple pillars and a deity murti, with other seated devotees in white further back.2017-09-26 +1 copiesA large group of devotees sits cross-legged on a red floor mat during an evening ritual at a temple hall.
