A man with long dark hair, a rust-brown saffron-toned wrap and heavy gold necklaces and rudraksha-style beads stands beside a white car, placing his hand on a large tray of red and white flowers. Beside him, a young man in an orange turban and orange wrap holds a green and gold decorated bundle with a flower-filled vessel on top, while a man with white sacred ash marks and a beaded mala stands behind. Several people in orange turbans are visible in the background near a covered walkway, with palm trees above. The scene suggests a padapuja or welcome ceremony, with Swamiji (probable) appearing as the man in the centre-right wearing the heavy gold necklaces and long swept-back hair.

To the left, a shaved-headed priest in orange robes with a white forehead band and orange beads holds a silver plate carrying a kalasha-like silver vessel topped with a yellow cloth or fruit, pink flowers, and green leaves. Two more orange-robed attendants stand at right, one with palms joined in namaskar. Partially visible behind the car window is another seated person in white. A bald, bespectacled man in orange robes with a white flower garland bows with hands folded beside the car. A young man in an orange robe holds a silver kalasha-style pot with green leaves, and a figure in orange holds a silver tray. On the right, a long-haired man in an orange shawl over a red garment smiles and adjusts his wrap; he has long swept-back hair and a distinctive ceremonial appearance, consistent with a person in a welcoming role. Several other men in orange and white stand behind, one in a yellow shawl.

Beside a silver van with its side door open, a bald man in an orange robe and gold necklace holds a polished silver kalasha with mango leaves, a yellow flower and red petals, while a second orange-robed man with a rudraksha mala reaches to take it.
