January 04 20122012-01-04Outdoor photo at an ashram-style grounds with blurred green trees and a small building behind. In the centre, a clean-shaven man in an orange-saffron shawl draped over one shoulder wears a long multi-strand rudraksha mala and a red bindi, smiling as he looks toward a bald man on the left wearing a white dhoti-style cloth with a yellow border, a rudraksha mala and white painted markings on his arm. Two more people stand in the background: a woman in white holding a cup and a person in purple at the right edge. Appearance-based cues here are limited to a rudraksha mala and saffron shawl, not enough for a firm identification.2011-12-06Outdoor photo under palm fronds of two saffron-robed men in close conversation. On the left, a smiling man with long dark swept-back hair, white tripundra and red bindi, wearing an orange shawl and a long rudraksha mala. On the right, a shaven-headed monk with white forehead markings draped in an orange-red hood, holding a wooden pole. Behind them, a man in a white shirt and another in orange with a red bindi look on. Left figure has distinctive long hair and rudraksha mala with saffron clothing, a compatible presentation for a person, though the image is not conclusive.2007-01-09January 04 20122012-01-04Outdoor photo of two men in orange-saffron robes beside palm fronds. On the left, a smiling man with long, swept-back dark hair wears an orange shawl and a long rudraksha mala, with white horizontal tilak and a red bindi on his forehead. On the right, a man with a shaved head, white tilak and a draped orange-saffron shawl stands in profile looking toward the left figure. Behind them a wooden pole and another partially visible person.2007-01-09Outdoor photo at a Himalaya Yatra gathering in Haridwar. In the foreground, a bald, grey-bearded man in a full orange robe is seen from behind, his back to the camera. Facing him on the left sits a long-haired person in an orange wrap with a long rudraksha mala, hands clasped in the lap, smiling. Behind them, a seated crowd in orange and green garments watches, with leafy green plants and ivy at the left.2006-06-04A photograph of a group of young men gathered closely outdoors, many bare-chested and wearing saffron-orange dhoti-style cloths. Several wear rudraksha malas across their chests and bracelets on their arms, and some have vermilion marks on their foreheads. Some are smiling and talking, and one man in the foreground faces away with a white sacred thread over his bare back. Green foliage and a red wall are visible in the blurred background.2017-01-14February 17 20172017-02-17Photograph of a group of young men and women seated closely together, all wearing saffron-orange wraps and layered rudraksha malas with large gold ceremonial beads. The central young man smiles broadly and looks back over his shoulder, his arm bent with a wrist thread visible. Others have long dreadlocks, one has a red bindi and white forehead markings, and several wear hoop earrings. Blurred foreground head and a red cloth in the background suggest a seated gathering or session. Four to five people are visible, and no figure is clearly identifiable as a person.2017-02-17July 02 20102010-07-02 +1 copiesOutdoor photo on a dry, sandy riverbank at dusk under a grey sky, with trees and distant structures on the horizon. Two men in saffron-orange robes stand face to face. The man on the left has long, dark, swept-back hair and bare shoulders, his right arm extended to rest a hand on the other man's chest. The man on the right has a shaved head with a white forehead mark, a saffron cloth draped over his head, and a wristwatch on his left wrist, his hand resting at his chest. Behind them, white-clad figures sit on the ground, some wearing face masks, and white ritual structures stand in the background.2007-02-02January 11 20172017-01-11
