Night photograph of a ritual procession near a large dark tree trunk. In the foreground a figure in an orange saffron garment with a brown-and-maroon border stands with palms pressed together in prayer, wearing a beaded necklace and a ring; their back is turned to the camera. To the left, a man in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth holds a lit oil lamp with a flame. Behind him, a man in white with an orange shawl draped over his shoulders walks alongside another man in white. Ground is bare earth with a faint white powder design.

Night outdoor photograph beneath a large banyan tree with dense aerial roots. A woman in an orange saffron robe with a red top stands at center, holding a metal oil lamp or brass bell-type implement in one hand and a lit flame in the other, gazing upward. Two men in white dhotis and white kurtas with orange shawls stand beside her; the man on the left holds a small tray, and the man on the right holds a handbell. A plain sandy ground and a white pole are visible at left, with a fire pit and offerings at lower right.

Night-time photograph of a sacred banyan tree on a raised sandy circular platform in a garden setting. A man in a rust-orange dhoti and wrap, with long dark hair and a beard, wears a long red-and-white flower garland and stands with both hands pressed against the trunk. To the left, a young man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands beside a brass puja tray holding a brass lamp, a small brass vessel and a plate of flowers. The scene shows a tree-worship ritual at dusk.

Night photograph outdoors near a large dark tree at an ashram-style site, with a sandy ground marked by pale designs. A figure in orange-saffron silk drape and matching lower cloth, wearing a multi-strand pink and white bead necklace with a gold ornament, holds a small silver vessel in one hand and a silver bowl-shaped object in the other while walking. Beside and behind them, men in white kurtas and dhotis, one with an orange shawl, carry small items and look down. Their clothing and actions suggest a ritual procession, though no deity or specific rite is clearly visible.

Night photo at an outdoor ritual site. In the left foreground, a figure in an orange saffron shawl and orange-and-gold sarong, with long dark hair and a white-and-gold flower garland, holds a flat grey stone against the chest and smiles with eyes lowered. Behind them stand several men in white dhotis and white shirts, one with hands folded in prayer and one with a bead-like object in his hands. Overhead hang long white fibrous strands from a tree branch. On the right, a dark stone yoni-shaped basin or vessel sits on a pile of pinkish-red stones, with a few flower petals and offerings scattered nearby, and a second orange-clad figure is partly visible at the right edge.
