Photograph of a pair of gilded murti statues seated on a red-draped throne within an ornate golden arched niche. The male figure wears a red turban, a blue and gold dhoti and a jewelled necklace, and holds a trident and a small drum-like instrument. The female figure wears a dark crown, large earrings, layered gold necklaces and a purple sari, holding a lotus-like object. Both are garlanded with white and red flower garlands, and the scene suggests a puja setting. These are statues, not physical people.2010-06-06Two gilded deity murti seated side by side within a golden arched frame before a red curtain, dressed for darshan.
