Four bare-chested drummers in saffron-orange dhotis with gold-bordered hems play round drums with pink sticks, wearing rudraksha malas, white forehead markings and turbans or hair swept back. One drummer in white dhoti stands among them, and a fifth drummer wearing a silver-coloured drum is on the right edge. Behind them, two men in orange and cream clothing stand with hands folded near a red pillar, with a hanging decorative cloth and flowering plumeria trees in the background.2016-10-21Night photograph of a procession on a dirt ground beside palm trees, with a tall pole topped by a decorated kalasha-like finial and streamers at left. A row of men in white dhotis and shirts, some with folded hands in namaskar, stand facing inward. Several drummers in white and dhoti play barrel drums. At the right, a figure in a long saffron/orange robe with a rudraksha mala stands with long, swept-back hair, a distinctive appearance that matches a probable Swamiji candidate in the procession. Additional people in white and orange stand further back near parked vehicles.2006-12-23December 23 20062006-12-23November 11 20152015-11-11December 06 20162016-12-06August 31 20152015-08-31Night photograph of a temple procession on a sandy open ground. In the foreground a man in a white shirt and grey trousers holds a tall brass staff topped with a finial and a flag-like pole, with other men in dark shirts holding decorated saffron-and-yellow banners and flagstaffs. Several men in white dhotis carry colourful striped parasol-style umbrellas on poles. Two drummers in white dhotis play large barrel drums, and a figure in a saffron-orange robe stands in the middle of the group among others in white clothes. Floodlit structures and a stone archway appear in the background.2006-12-23December 29 20102010-12-29
