On the left, a woman with hair in a bun and hoop earrings wears an orange-brown sari with a yellow border and rudraksha malas, and holds a small mobile phone. In the centre, a shaved-headed man in orange-brown robes wears long layered rudraksha and orange beaded malas and a red-and-white forehead mark, and speaks with an open expression. On the right, a man with his back to the camera wears an orange shirt and gestures with one hand. Pale washed-out lighting.

Outdoor photo on a concrete ground in front of a red-tiled building with lattice windows. Several people in red-maroon ochre robes with gold borders converse. A man in a dark red turban and a heavy gold pendant with multiple gold-bead necklaces speaks and gestures with his hand. Beside him a bald man in red robes wears a rudraksha mala and wrist beads. On the left an older bearded man with white hair wears an orange-saffron kurta and shawl. On the right a woman in red sari with gold border and gold bead necklace stands. Behind them more people in red and orange robes and garlands, and a parked car.

Outdoor photograph of three people in orange saffron robes in light rain beside a street lamp and green trees. In the foreground a person with short dark hair, a red forehead mark and a small gold earring stands with arms folded across the chest, wrapped in a loose orange shawl. Behind on the left, a shaved-headed man in orange robes wears a rudraksha mala and looks down at a mobile phone in his hand. A third person in orange stands partly behind on the right. Wet foliage and a grey sky fill the background.

Three men in saffron-orange sannyasi attire stand under a green steel-framed shelter, smiling and conversing closely. The central man wears a rudraksha mala, a rudraksha headband, a white and gold necklace and an orange dhoti with gold border. He is smiling broadly and appears to be the centre of the greeting. The man on the left, bare-chested with a saffron cloth and a rudraksha headband, is seen from behind with white ash markings on his back. The man on the right wears a red shawl and has long white beard and swept-back hair, with a gold necklace. A uniformed official in khaki stands behind, with a woman in red partly visible at left.

Three men in orange-saffron robes stand outdoors among green foliage and a white car. On the right, a younger man with long, swept-back dark hair wears a saffron wrap and a long rudraksha mala, and gestures with his right hand as he speaks. Beside him, an older bald man with a short white beard and a red forehead mark listens with his hands clasped, and a shaved-headed older man on the far left, also in orange cloth, faces the speaker. The mood is an informal conversation between sannyasis. Swamiji (probable) for the man with long hair, wearing saffron robes and a rudraksha mala.

On the right, a long-haired man in orange saffron robes with a gold yellow edge sits cross-legged, wearing a gold chain, a multi-strand rudraksha mala with pearl beads, gold bangles and earrings, with a red tilak on his forehead; he is gesturing as he speaks. On the left, a bald older man in orange robes holds the right man's hand. A third person in orange stands behind them and a partly visible man in a yellow vest is at the left edge.

Four men in saffron-orange robes stand together: the central man has a shaved head, white-and-red forehead markings, a multi-strand beaded necklace with a gold pendant, and a red shawl; the man on the right wears an orange robe with a pinkish-orange shawl; two men on the left wear orange robes with dark red borders, one with glasses. A tall gold trident and a gold staff topped with a bird finial are held nearby by a person in white. Several boys in white shirts and dark trousers stand in the background, and a colourful festival chariot or procession float is visible behind the group.
