A man with long, swept-back dark hair stands outdoors in a grassy clearing with dense green trees and a palm behind him. He wears an orange-saffron wrap over a sleeveless saffron garment and a multi-strand rudraksha mala with a metal pendant around his neck. He has a white and red forehead mark and holds his hands together at his waist, looking to the side. The image shows a single physical person in a natural setting with no visible ritual objects beyond the mala.2008-04-01July 07 20102010-07-07 +2 copiesJuly 21 20042004-07-21Outdoor photograph on a sparse, grassy plain beside a pale turquoise lake with snow-dusted mountains behind it under a partly cloudy sky. A man with long, dark, windswept hair and a red bindi on a white forehead mark smiles broadly and raises his right hand in greeting. He wears a bright orange hooded top with a gold-bordered orange wrap draped over one shoulder, and a leopard-print scarf tied at the waist. Appearance-based candidate: a person, based on long hair, saffron-orange ornate clothing and a shawl-style wrap; no throne or printed caption identifies him.A smiling man with short dark hair, a red bindi and white forehead markings sits speaking before a gold-leaf backdrop. He wears an orange saffron wrap draped over one shoulder and a long rudraksha mala of dark beads. A microphone stand is visible at the left edge, and a partly visible hand gestures in the foreground. The scene suggests a discourse setting; the page identifies the event as a Patanjali Yoga Sutra discourse. The man is an appearance-based probable candidate for a person, judged by the orange wrap and rudraksha mala, though the face is not used for identification.2011-02-14A photograph of a man seated on a low stone ledge in a leafy garden. He wears an orange saffron turban and an orange robe draped over his shoulders, with a red mark on his forehead, and his long dark hair falls behind him. He rests one arm on a large rounded stone and looks off to the side with a slight smile. Behind him is a white gabled structure with a round window partly hidden by green shrubs, and the ground beneath him is covered with small pebbles.A smiling young man in an orange saffron turban and orange draped robe sits on a small carved wooden stool beneath a huge banyan tree with thick aerial roots. He wears a long string of rudraksha beads over his shoulder, has a red bindi on his forehead, long dark hair, and is barefoot. His hands rest folded on his knee in a relaxed pose against the tree trunk in dappled sunlight on bare earth. A probable Swamiji candidate with saffron robe, turban and rudraksha mala cues.2004-07-21Outdoor photo of a long-haired man seated cross-legged on rocks over an orange cloth on grassy ground with scattered trees behind. He wears an orange robe draped over his shoulders, a long rudraksha mala, and a red mark on his forehead, with his hands clasped on his knee. Two men in white clothes sit nearby, one at right wearing gold bangles, and a wooden staff lies at the lower left. The long swept-back hair, saffron robe and rudraksha cues are distinctive, so this is a probable Swamiji in person.2008-01-03Outdoor photo on a rocky hillside among trees. A smiling man with long dark hair, a red bindi and a dark rudraksha mala sits on a stone pile, wearing a sleeveless orange robe with gold borders and black-and-orange sandals. Beside him at left, a woman in white with an orange shawl stands, and a seated figure in white with an orange shawl sits behind. He wears an orange saffron turban with a red bindi, an orange sannyasi cloth draped over one shoulder, and multiple rudraksha mala necklaces, with long dark hair falling past his shoulders. His hands are clasped in his lap and he looks upward, barefoot on sandy ground. A purple logo appears at the upper left and a faint copyright line is at the lower right. Probable Swamiji by appearance: the long hair, saffron turban and orange clothing with rudraksha malas match the page's claim, and he is the only person present.2004-07-21A man with long dark hair stands outdoors on a dirt path in front of palm trees, wearing a flowing saffron-orange robe draped over one shoulder and a red undergarment, with a red bindi on his forehead and sandals on his feet.
