A night street procession in a town centre. In the foreground a shirtless priest in an orange-and-yellow dhoti stands on a peacock-shaped ratha/vehicle with a fringed umbrella canopy, reaching up to adjust it. Beside him a man in a white shirt and checked lungi works at the base of a large silver-coloured horse sculpture on a wooden platform. Crowds of devotees stand along the road, with street lights, shop signs and a balloon visible in the background.

A blurred night-time photograph of a street procession. Central focus is a large bull or nandi-like sculpted figure with a tall ornate structure rising above, its surface glinting in streetlight and flash. A figure in a yellow garment and a person in orange-brown clothing stand beside it near the base. Strings of lights, shop signs and illuminated storefronts line both sides of the street, and a bright lamp glows behind the figures. A date stamp in red reads 27 10 2006 at the lower right, with a faint copyright line above it. Motion blur throughout suggests a moving ratha or procession.

Night procession on a decorated ratha-style chariot drawn by white horses, lit by flashes. A central seated figure wears an orange-red dhoti and a bead garland, holding a red staff. Behind him stands a silver canopy with a tassel-hung floral garland in red, green, yellow and blue. Devotees in saffron and orange clothing walk alongside, and ornate yellow and red umbrellas with floral embroidery stand at the right edge. Night procession on a street lit by strings of multicoloured lights. A decorated ratha or palanquin carries a seated figure in red and gold clothing, garlanded with marigold and multicoloured flower garlands, under an ornate silver canopy. Two white horses or horse figures are pulled alongside. Ceremonial umbrellas with embroidered gold and silver fabric shade the crowd, and women in orange and red saris walk near the cart. A cloud of dust or smoke drifts in front of the illuminated cart. The figure on the cart shows long hair and a crown-like headdress, but the appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity, so this is an unsure candidate.

A night procession on a decorated ratha chariot drawn by several horses, lit by warm lamps and strings of blue, red and green lights on nearby buildings. A standing man in a red-orange garment and a flower garland, with a long rod or staff in his hand, rides on the chariot seat, which is hung with colourful tassels and flowers. Below, a crowd of devotees walks alongside, many holding large decorated umbrellas in blue, orange and yellow. At right, a woman in a bright orange sari with long dark hair extends her arm toward the chariot.

Night procession photograph. A decorated ratha or chariot with a canopy, draped red and white cloth, and bright multicolored tassel garlands is pulled by carved wooden horses in the foreground. A bare-chested man in orange-brown dhoti sits on the chariot, wearing white and orange garlands and a rudraksha-style necklace, holding a long red rope or reins. Around the chariot, many people in colorful saris, dhotis and white clothing walk along, some holding decorated umbrellas and yellow-and-red ceremonial fans.

Night procession on a street lined with red, blue and green string lights and tall buildings. A large decorated chariot (ratha) with a silver canopy and multicoloured flower garlands leads the way, drawn by silver horses. A man in a red garment with a garland stands on the chariot holding a long yellow staff. Crowds line both sides, many under ornate blue and red umbrellas, and women in orange and pink saris stand at right. Bright headlights glow at the front of the procession amid dust.
