The figure wears a tall crown-like headdress banded in blue velvet, red, green and white with metallic embroidery, a broad ornate jewelled collar with a lotus-shaped pendant, and a blue garment with gold trim. Its right hand is raised in blessing abhaya mudra and a blue rudraksha-style mala hangs from the wrist, with red, yellow and white flower garlands draped across the chest. The figure is a deity murti or statue, not a living person, and the frame is decorated with gold repousse carving.2016-08-24May 21 20182018-05-21 +2 copiesA gilded statue of a seated figure, shown as a golden murti, sits on a leopard-print cushion before a silver-repoussé backdrop.
