A procession moves along a stone-paved path toward a red-walled temple at dusk, led by a row of drummers with large silver drums. Men in saffron-orange dhotis and bare chests play the drums, while others in white dhotis with gold-bordered shawls walk alongside. A man in a red-brown dhoti and wrapped crown-like headwear with a gold necklace walks at the centre, behind a white ceremonial umbrella. Some carry tall staffs with trident-like tops. Strings of fairy lights and a parked white vehicle line the route, and a saffron flag appears in the right foreground.2016-12-14Night procession on a stone-paved path lined with red earth banks and strings of multicoloured lights. Four musicians lead in white dhotis and white shirts: a drummer with a barrel drum slung at his side on the left, two wind players playing long brass horns, and a man on the right carrying a large frame drum. Behind them, several people in white and cream traditional dress follow, and a lit stage with a red flag and colourful illuminations stands in the background. The scene is lit by floodlights, with long shadows cast on the stones.2018-12-30 +1 copiesDecember 14 20162016-12-14December 14 20162016-12-14Early-morning photograph of a paved walkway lined with trees at dusk-blue light, with a lit building entrance in the background. A group of about ten men in white dhotis and shirts walk in procession, one carrying a bundle of greenery on his shoulder, another playing a drum, and several carrying bundles and offerings. A woman in a blue sari walks at right carrying a basket. Another person in a red top walks on the right edge. The scene suggests a temple procession before dawn.2016-12-12December 02 20172017-12-02September 03 20172017-09-03August 25 20172017-08-25 +1 copiesA dusk procession on a dirt road beside a red brick wall.
