Photograph of a crowded red-carpeted hall where a central figure sits on an ornate gold throne with a gold canopy and lion-head armrests. The seated figure wears an orange-red dhoti and turban-style headcloth and a multicolour flower garland, with a rudraksha-style necklace visible. Devotees in white and red saris, white dhotis and kurtas press forward with hands extended, some holding small offerings or boxes of sweets. A cameraman with a tripod films on the left, and a standing priest in white with a gold necklace attends nearby. Two large ornate golden chairs flank the central throne against a red drape and a mural backdrop. Swamiji (probable) is seated in the centre on the throne, based on the throne, orange clothing, turban and garlanded appearance.2016-04-30April 30 20162016-04-30Photograph of a crowded devotional darshan at a tented event. A figure seated on the throne wears a saffron-orange turban and orange robes, with a multicoloured flower garland and a rudraksha mala, and is being approached by devotees who reach toward him. Standing around the throne are a shaved-headed priest in white clothes, a bare-chested man with a tilak, men in red and black shirts, a woman in a red sari and a woman in a purple garment, and a child. A seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion and tiger-striped seat wears an orange-red turban, orange robes and a white-and-green floral garland; this matches Swamiji (probable) by the turban, orange clothing and ceremonial throne setting, though the face is not used. Devotees in white and saffron crowd forward, one with a shaved head and white tripundra marks offering a vessel, and a bald saffron-robed attendant with a bare upper body stands before the throne. A video camera on a tripod stands behind the crowd. Many devotees press in around the throne.2016-04-30
