December 01 20132013-12-01A seated figure in a red-brown dhoti and shawl, wearing white-and-orange flower garlands and a white forehead mark, places his right hand on the crown of a kneeling man in a white shirt and red-orange shawl. The seated figure's eyes are closed and he appears to be giving a blessing. Beside him are gold lion-head armrests of a throne, a silver staff with a ornate finial, and a framed painting on a pale wall. A woman in a red top is partly visible at the right edge.2014-05-13A seated man with long dark hair in a bun, wearing a rust-red robe and a beaded rudraksha-style mala, places his right palm on the forehead of a devotee kneeling before him. The devotee wears a white shirt, a red-orange shawl with printed text, and a red lanyard badge, and holds his left palm up in a gesture of receiving. Golden lion-head ornaments sit beside the seated figure, and a woman in white stands in the background near a dark speaker and a wooden podium. This appears to be a blessing moment during an ashram event.2013-12-16A photograph of an indoor satsang where a bare-chested man with long swept-back hair, a crown-like headpiece, a red-orange shawl and a heavy ornate gold rudraksha-style garland passes a small paper item to a clean-shaven young man in a white t-shirt and orange-patterned shawl. The bearded younger man smiles and raises a hand toward the figure. Between them stands a silver staff with a serpent-like coiled form, and beside them a large gold-plated bull figure (nandi) sits in front of red drapes and a gold-framed mirror. A peacock-feather fan appears at the lower left.2014-07-27A seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet cushion receives a ritual sprinkling. The seated person wears an orange-red turban, an orange robe, a white and red flower garland and a long gold-coloured bead necklace, and holds a bunch of green leaves raised overhead while smiling. A standing attendant in a purple and gold turban and a pink-and-orange shawl, bare-chested with a white dhoti, pours water from a decorated brass pot with red and yellow geometric patterns. A small black keyboard stand sits in front of the throne against a deep red curtain. Water droplets are visible in the air.2015-09-05A seated figure on a golden lion-headed throne wears a dark wrapped turban with a gold ornament, a long multi-strand bead necklace, a rudraksha bracelet on the upper arm, and a rust-red robe with a gold edge. A bald man in white clothes, with a rudraksha mala around his neck, stands with palms pressed together in namaskar facing him. Gold lion carvings, a gold-fringed parasol and wood-panelled walls form the setting. Swamiji (probable) appears in this scene, identified by the turban, saffron-toned robe and multiple rudraksha malas as the seated person being honoured.2013-12-01September 04 20172017-09-04August 13 20172017-08-13 +1 copiesMay 21 20162016-05-21October 07 20172017-10-07October 07 20172017-10-07A seated long-haired man in a rust-red shawl, bare-chested with a leopard-print wrap and a sweeping mane of hair, reaches out to press his palm on the forehead of a standing devotee. The devotee wears a white dhoti with a gold border, a red shawl printed with Sanskrit script, and has a sandalwood tilak with hands joined in namaskar. Behind them, a golden throne back and garlanded deity murti with gold ornaments and a kalasha-like tall stick form the setting. Swamiji (probable): the seated man shows long swept-back hair, distinctive adornments and red ceremonial clothing, so this is a probable Swamiji blessing a devotee.2014-12-26
