A bare-shouldered man in a maroon-red cloth wrap and gold-toned neck adornment places his right palm on the forehead of a man in a white kurta and red-and-white beaded necklace, who holds his own right hand up in a gesture of receiving. Behind them a seated woman in a white top and dark mala beads watches, with more people and an orange tassel visible in the background. The setting appears to be a satsang gathering.2013-12-20A photograph of a healers' initiation with a man in a saffron-and-gold garment and a gold beaded necklace placing his right palm on the forehead of a bald devotee in white clothes and an orange-red shawl. A young man in white with a red-and-gold wrap receives the touch while his hands are raised. Behind them, a woman in white with an orange-red shawl and a rudraksha mala holds small sticks, and other devotees in white and orange shawls stand near a red drape with brass oil lamps and a golden deity murti. The page marks the scene as a person-attended; the saffron-clad figure with a long swept-back hairstyle and gold necklace is a probable in-person candidate, while the event itself is not visibly labelled in the photo.2015-07-19July 05 20152015-07-05 +1 copiesJuly 11 20122012-07-11A photo of a seated man in a saffron-orange robe with gold trim and a rudraksha mala raising his hand to touch the forehead of a man in a white t-shirt with an orange-and-white shawl printed with text and a green event badge on a lanyard. A woman in a red-and-orange outfit with a dark bead necklace sits behind them with hands folded, and other seated attendees in red shawls fill the hall, with a screen visible above. The robed man has long swept-back hair and a lightly ornate gold necklace, and his appearance is distinctive, so he may be the Swamiji candidate, shown in person giving a blessing touch on the forehead.2015-07-10January 02 20142014-01-02A long-haired man in an orange-red robe with a rudraksha mala sits on a red-cushioned gold throne, reaching out to touch the forehead of a man in white kurta who has white ash marks on his brow. Behind them, golden oil lamps stand on the throne side, and a crowd of women and men in red, orange and white clothing sits in a red-walled hall, some holding papers. A woman in white with a gold necklace and red-brown mala watches nearby. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure in orange robes with long hair and a rudraksha mala, giving blessings to a devotee.2016-04-28
