A bare-chested person with rudraksha beads on the head and arms, wearing a rust and gold cloth, pours or presses water over a dark Shiva lingam. Beside them a bald priest in orange-red robes with rudraksha malas bends forward, holding a brass bowl. Behind them stands a deity murti in a red turban wrapped in layered garlands of red, pink, yellow and purple flowers, with golden hands visible at right and a golden silk shawl. Warm lamplight and a glass case fill the background.2015-02-17 +1 copiesA photograph inside a temple shrine. A man in a rust-red turban and matching rust-red dhoti-style wrap, with a bare upper body and gold armlets, stands at the centre and places a gold ornament on a large deity murti draped in thick garlands of yellow, orange, red and green flowers. Behind him a second person in red-brown clothing stands at left with a long braid. At right, a gold-decorated figure is wrapped in red and gold cloth, and brass vessels and flower offerings sit on the altar. Soft window light falls from the left, and oil lamp light glows at the right edge.2016-12-14December 14 20162016-12-14June 07 20162016-06-07A photograph of a Hindu temple worship scene. Two men in orange saffron clothing stand before a golden deity murti of Shiva Linga with a silver-and-gold shaft and a black stone base, draped in a garland of yellow, red, white and green flowers. A man in a left-side position holds a brass vessel of offerings; the central figure with long dark hair and a red-beaded mala pours or offers over the linga. Behind them, large deity figures in orange and gold garments wear crowns and gold necklaces, with a small white-robed statue and an orange turban on a pedestal in front. This appears to be abhishekam puja.2012-01-01December 27 20092009-12-27June 07 20162016-06-07June 07 20162016-06-07December 14 20162016-12-14
