Night crowd scene under a yellow and green striped festival canopy with red and blue medallion patterns. A bright vertical light stands in the centre, and a dense crowd of devotees presses around. A bald man in saffron robes stands near the centre-left, and another bald man in white shirt pushes forward at lower left. A woman in orange sari and a man in purple shirt stand among the crowd, and a man in white holds a child at right. A man holds a camera on a pole overhead. A banner with a pale sun design hangs at right.

Outdoor photo at a Kumbamela gathering in Mandya, Karnataka, showing a crowd of devotees in orange and saffron robes beneath a large tree with a red and white canopy. In the centre, a bald man with a saffron hood and a rudraksha mala stands with hands clasped. Beside him, a smiling man wears an orange turban, orange robes, a long rudraksha mala and holds a wooden staff. A bald man in orange on the right holds a mobile phone to his ear. Many onlookers in white and orange fill the background. The scene appears to be a sarvadarshan darshan event.

Night photograph of a dense crowd of men gathered outdoors on a dirt road in front of a long orange-brick building. Strings of colourful triangular pennants hang across the scene and bright lamps light the area. A figure in a saffron-orange garment stands centrally, smiling, with long dark hair, surrounded by devotees in white shirts, maroon shirts and dhotis, one man in a red turban, and several shaven-headed men. Some hands reach toward him and one man raises a fist. Parked cars and a few banners stand at the left edge.

Night-time crowd scene at a temple courtyard with a decorated deity murti on a flower-garlanded palanquin-like platform at left under a blue and orange canopy. A bare-chested figure in saffron-orange cloth with a long ornate gold necklace and a red bindi stands at centre, smiling and gesturing, surrounded by saffron-robed attendants and a crowd. A man in a white shirt raises a camera, and a uniformed police officer stands nearby. Many people press in from all sides under lamps and arched pillars.

Night photograph of a crowd gathered around a central man in an orange saffron robe, holding a flower bundle of white jasmine and pink blooms. Behind him, a red and yellow fringed canopy on a tall pole is held aloft by a man in an orange-saffron robe on the left. A man in a white shirt with a moustache and a red-shirted man reach toward the central figure, while many devotees in white and colourful shirts press forward under dim lights.

A dense crowd of men at night, pressing along a dark roadside lined with trees. Most wear white shirts and dhotis or trousers, and several hold up mobile phones to record. In the upper centre, a figure in an orange-saffron garment with a red cloth stands above the crowd near a vehicle, but the face and adornments are not clearly visible, so the identity cannot be confirmed. Some people in the foreground are looking toward the camera. The scene suggests a darshan gathering outdoors.
