A man in a white shirt and a man in a blue shirt raise the pink garland over his head while a young boy in a red striped shirt presses his palms together in reverence. Another orange-clad attendant stands at the right edge. Behind them are arched white pillars and a deity murti in an alcove, with a golden altar and a striped cloth visible at right. The scene suggests a garlanding honour during a visit, with several devotees crowding around. The man receiving the garland has long dark hair and a gold bangle on his wrist; his appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm an identity, so he is described by role.2012-06-03 +1 copiesJuly 29 20082008-07-29 +1 copiesPhotograph of a crowded event tent at a religious gathering. The garland is a multicoloured flower garland of yellow, orange, red and purple blooms. Behind them, a few other men in white and a woman in a pink sari stand near palm trees on a roadside. The seated saffron-clad figure has long dark hair and a tilak mark, consistent with a person appearance cue for the garlanded person, though the identification is uncertain from appearance.2009-08-08August 03 20092009-08-03
