A photograph of a large group of men standing in a open-sided covered hall with a corrugated metal roof and bare brick walls. Most wear white shirts and white dhotis, many with rudraksha malas around their necks; several stand with hands folded in namaskar or clasped at the waist, and some have arms crossed. Light streams in from a bright opening at the back, with a few more people visible beyond. No one present is wearing saffron or a crown, and no one's appearance supports identifying a specific individual, so the figures are described by role only as devotees in white.2007-02-24February 24 20072007-02-24A photograph taken inside a long hall with a tiled concrete floor and a central aisle lined with red and yellow runner strips. Two rows of devotees in white clothing stand with palms pressed together in namaste along both sides. Men on the left wear white shirts and white dhotis, some with rudraksha malas; women on the right wear white saris with coloured borders. At the far end, a figure in a long saffron-orange robe walks up the aisle toward a doorway, with another person in white standing near the entrance. Ventilation grilles sit high in the walls and decorative red and gold hangings flank the top corners.2006-10-08A large hall with a blue mat where many men in white kurtas and white dhotis stand barefoot in rows, hands folded in anjali or pranam. Several wear rudraksha malas. Some hold small booklets. Striped and elephant-patterned hanging cloth panels decorate the ceiling, and women in white saris are visible on the right. The scene suggests a group session or satsang with participants standing in greeting.2006-10-07December 17 20072007-12-17A photograph of a long queue of men in plain white shirts and white dhotis standing on green carpet inside a thatched pavilion with bamboo-mat walls and fluorescent tube lights. Several men wear white identity lanyards or badges around their necks. The foreground men face the camera with serious expressions, one with a moustache and another gesturing with his hand, while others stand in line behind them toward the back of the hall. The setting suggests a convention or darshan line for delegates, though no a person figure is visible in this view.2006-11-05A crowded indoor hall with cream walls, orange-red curtains and a white curtain on the right. Many men stand shoulder to shoulder, most in white ritual clothing such as white shirts, dhotis and kurtas. In the foreground a man in a light blue shirt with a lanyard badge and a pendant stands facing forward. Next to him a young boy in a white shirt and dhoti stands with arms folded, and a woman in white with a blue lanyard stands with hands joined. Several men wear lanyards with ID badges, and some wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. An orange mat covers part of the floor, and a few men stand on it. The group appears attentive, looking toward the front of the room.2010-02-22A photograph of a group of men and boys standing in a line inside a plain white-walled hall with a tiled floor and a small framed picture on the wall. Most wear white dhotis and white kurtas with rudraksha malas around their necks; one older man has white hair and a white beard and wears a white shirt. A boy in a grey kurta holds a small pink box, and a boy in an orange hooded top stands near a shaven-headed man in orange robes at the right edge. A sound system and speaker sit at the right, and a saffron cloth is tied to a rod on the wall. No visible a person candidate is clearly identifiable.2007-02-24A photograph of a large hall with a white-washed wall, exposed wooden roof beams and ceiling fans, where a crowd of devotees stands on an orange mat. Most men wear white shirts and white dhotis, several wearing lanyard ID badges, and a few women in saris stand at the left. The foreground man in white has a rudraksha mala and a vertical tilak on his forehead, and a man in a beige shirt stands beside him. Several people appear to be standing with eyes closed in reverence. An orange-curtained doorway and a small shrine area are visible at the back. Blue and orange patterned mats cover the floor.October 08 20062006-10-08January 27 20072007-01-27February 27 20162016-02-27 +1 copies
