A man in an orange turban and orange dhoti-style wrap pours water from a brass vessel over a large black stone deity murti during abhishekam. A bare-chested man in an orange wrap and orange head cloth stands with his back to the camera, raising a gold beaded garland over a tall dark stone deity murti of Venkateshwara with a crown and rudraksha mala. A second person's arms reach in from the right to hold the garland, and a smiling man in white clothes watches at left. Water glistens on the stone and on the bare back.2004-06-10June 10 20042004-06-10April 02 20032003-04-02 +1 copiesA man in a saffron-orange turban and flowing orange robe stands in profile beside a large polished black stone deity murti, touching its raised hand, while water glistens on his arm and the stone. Behind him a thatched palm-leaf roof shelters people in white dhotis, and a metal vessel sits near the base. The murti wears an ornate crown and detailed carved jewellery. The man's appearance, with long hair and saffron turban and robe, is a distinctive cue, but the page does not place him at this event, so his identity is uncertain.2004-06-10September 11 20172017-09-11 +1 copiesA young man in an orange turban and orange shawl stands beside a large black stone deity figure, pressing his right palm against its face while water glistens on the stone and his hand. A red tilak mark is on his forehead and long dark hair falls to his shoulders. Behind him dried palm-leaf thatch forms the backdrop. The scene appears to be an abhishekam or ritual anointing of a deity murti.2004-06-10June 10 20042004-06-10September 11 20172017-09-11April 02 20032003-04-02June 10 20042004-06-10
