A shaven-headed priest in orange-saffron robes with a gold-toned necklace pours liquid from a golden vessel over a golden-coloured statue beneath an ornately carved gold arch. The statue, a standing figure with a raised hand and white dhoti, is coated with the flowing liquid. A woman in a white sari with red bindi stands partially visible at left, and a white figure sits at the lower right edge. Hanging rudraksha-style beads and pink flowers decorate the upper background, with a small golden kalasha-like object at the bottom.

A photograph of an abhishekam being performed before a deity murti decorated with dense garlands of red, yellow, purple and white flowers. A woman in a rudraksha headband and rudraksha mala, wearing gold bangles and a dark red-and-gold garment, pours water from a vessel over the murti, which is dressed with a red cloth. A shaved-headed man in an orange-red garment and rudraksha beads holds a silver vessel beside her, and a second shaved-headed man in white stands at the left edge. Water streams down onto the stone base as the flower-draped deity glows in warm lamplight.

A shirtless priest in an orange dhoti with red borders pours yellow liquid from a round brass-coloured vessel over a dark stone Nandi bull statue. The Nandi is garlanded with red, white, yellow and purple flowers at its neck, and the yellow liquid streams down its head and face. The priest wears a rudraksha mala across his chest and sacred ash streaks on his shoulders and arms, and a green-leaved tree stands in the background. The scene reads as an abhishekam offering to a Nandi statue.

A photograph of a priest in an orange-red garment pouring a golden liquid from a brass vessel over a standing golden statue of a man. The priest, wearing an orange shawl and a gold chain, stands at left with one hand on the vessel and bangles on his wrist. The statue, a gilded figure with raised right palm and white dhoti, is set within an ornate gold arched frame. Behind them hang red cloth, a strand of rudraksha beads, and a bouquet of pink and yellow flowers with green leaves. The scene resembles an abhishekam ritual performed on a murti.

A large black stone Shiva lingam is decorated with a garland of red, yellow and white flowers wrapped around its base and pouring milky liquid down its surface. A bare-chested priest with long dreadlocked hair, white sacred marks on his forehead and rudraksha malas around his neck stands on a metal platform, pouring liquid from a brass pot onto the lingam for abhishekam. A second man sits behind him on the platform beside another brass vessel, under a clear blue sky. Silver plates are fixed to the lingam's lower section.

Photograph of an outdoor abhishekam at a thatched-roof shelter. A bare-chested man in an orange wrap and orange head cloth stands with his back to the camera, raising a gold beaded garland over a tall dark stone deity murti of Venkateshwara with a crown and rudraksha mala. A second person's arms reach in from the right to hold the garland, and a smiling man in white clothes watches at left. Water glistens on the stone and on the bare back.

A temple abhishekam at an open-sided stone pavilion with a grey granite Shiva lingam on a tiered black stone yoni pitha. A woman with long dark wavy hair, wearing an orange sleeveless top and rudraksha mala, pours water from a woven basket-like vessel onto the lingam while a water spray fills the air. Behind her, two young men in orange robes stand, one holding a brass pot. In the foreground, a person in white clothing with an orange shawl kneels on the wet floor, partly soaked by the splashing water. A corrugated roof, red curtain and a wall clock are visible.

A photograph of an abhishekam at an outdoor shrine. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes pours water from a brass vessel over a Shiva linga on a dark stone pedestal, the water splashing onto the platform. Behind the linga stand gilded deity murtis of a male figure with a trident and a female figure in a green and red sari with jewelled crowns and necklaces. In the foreground a devotee in orange lies prone on the wet stone. A small gold shrine-like object sits at right, and a second robed attendant stands at left. The man is an appearance-based a person candidate by long swept hair and saffron robes, so this is an in-person scene with the caveat that identity is uncertain.
