The man at left in an orange turban holds a lamp with flames. The central figure wears a tall ornate gold-embroidered crown and a rudraksha mala, with hands pressed together in prayer. The man at right with long dreadlocks and glasses holds a brass plate of flowers and offerings, and another man with long hair stands behind. Their bodies bear white sacred ash markings. Each lamp holds golden-orange oil and a flame burns at the wick, creating a warm glow against the dark surroundings, consistent with a Karthigai Deepam lamp offering.2017-12-02Close photograph of a brass tray holding a row of lit oil lamps, their flames rising high with wisps of smoke curling above them. A blurred dark background surrounds the lamps, and a hand is partly visible at the left edge holding the tray.
