Beside him, a large decorated palanquin-style throne is covered in red, purple, yellow and white flower garlands, holding two golden-crowned deity murtis, one wearing jeweled ornaments and a green-and-gold dhoti, the other seated beside it. A golden arched canopy frames the scene against a dark backdrop.2018-04-27June 21 20152015-06-21February 05 20172017-02-05February 22 20172017-02-22August 06 20172017-08-06 +1 copiesPhoto 11706100 +2 copiesSeptember 07 20172017-09-07 +1 copiesDecember 22 20162016-12-22 +1 copiesSeptember 22 20172017-09-22A seated man in a rust-orange and red-brown robe sits on an ornate silver-and-white throne decorated with fresh red and orange roses and green leaves. He wears a red-orange turban with a peacock-feather ornament, a red tilak on his forehead, a long white-and-pink flower garland, rudraksha beads and gold necklaces, and gold armlets. Both hands rest on a golden peacock-headed staff across his lap, and he smiles with eyes closed. Tall tassel-topped decorations in orange, purple, white and red flank the throne, with strings of flowers on either side. This appears to be a Krishna Janmashtami celebration, with the figure presenting like a person seated in ceremonial darshan.2017-08-14September 01 20172017-09-01 +1 copies
