August 14 20172017-08-14A photograph of a festive ritual setting beneath a canopy of white and red flower garlands strung in rows. A man with short dark hair and a smile sits centrally before a floral backdrop decorated with flowers in red, yellow, purple and white, with circular ornaments. He wears a red-and-white flower garland, gold necklaces and a rust-coloured cloth. To his left, two men in saffron-orange dhotis and matching orange head cloths stand with their backs partly turned, one wearing rudraksha beads. On the right, a woman in a rust-brown sari with gold jewellery holds a silver plate, and a girl in white with a long plait and a young girl in white stand near the seated man, who is receiving them. A man in white stands at the far left edge.2017-07-09A photograph of a festive temple-style canopy hung with white jasmine garlands and red flowers, lit by blue stage light. A man with long dark hair and bare upper body, wearing a pink and white flower garland and gold bangles, smiles at the centre of the frame. Around him, several devotees in orange and saffron garments and a woman in a red blouse and orange sari stand close, their backs and hair visible in the foreground. Red and white decorations hang at right.2017-08-14January 09 20182018-01-09A photograph of a seated man on an ornate silver-and-wood throne with leopard-print cushions, in front of a heart-shaped backdrop of yellow and red marigold garlands framed by gold and jewelled borders. He wears a rust-brown dhoti-style cloth draped over one shoulder, a long gold necklace with a large gold pendant, a red forehead mark, and a dark turban-like hairstyle; he is smiling with his hands extended. Two young women in orange saris with rudraksha malas stand beside him, one holding an orange fruit, and a man in orange with rudraksha beads on the left touches his arm. A woman in a yellow floral sari kneels on the red carpet offering a fruit, and another young woman in orange crouches at the right beside a figure in blue. Flower petals lie on the red carpet. Appearance-based cues on the seated central figure (long swept-back dark hair under a turban, gold ornate necklaces and saffron-toned clothing) are consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, so this is a probable Swamiji in person, presented as the honoured figure of a ceremony.2018-04-14 +1 copiesSeptember 23 20122012-09-23August 14 20172017-08-14April 14 20182018-04-14April 14 20182018-04-14August 14 20172017-08-14A photograph of a ceremony in front of an ornate red and gold throne decorated with white jasmine garlands and a red-and-white floral garland. A smiling man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits on the throne, wearing a white garland and a cream-coloured garment. Two devotees kneel at his feet: a woman in an orange shawl with a long braid, and a person in white with long hair. Women in white and cream saris stand around the throne, one in an orange shawl with a beaded necklace, others with clasped hands in applause. The throne is framed by a curved arch of white flowers edged in green, red and purple, with a yellow floral backdrop. The scene reads as a pushpabhishekam-style offering of flowers to the seated figure.2008-11-12December 27 20062006-12-27
