September 14 20152015-09-14Temple-style ritual scene before a gilded shrine with ornate golden arches and red-draped platforms holding deity murtis decorated with yellow and red garlands and gold ornaments. A central murti wears a tall crown and red-and-gold drapery. Two priests in white dhotis stand at the centre: one bare-chested with a yellow turban and orange shawl, the other in yellow and white robes, handling a ritual vessel and lamp. A third attendant in a yellow shawl stands at right holding a small lamp. Brass oil lamps and a kalasha with flower garlands sit on the floor in front, with a gold umbrella above. The scene reads as abhishekam or aarti in a shrine setting.2015-07-13October 18 20152015-10-18 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple shrine lit with many oil lamps, with golden deity murtis and garlanded idols under decorated canopies. A standing man in an orange saffron shawl, with a garland of beads around his neck, holds a bell in one hand and a lit oil lamp flame in the other, while an orange-clad attendant on the left extends a hand toward the flame. Behind them, a golden deity murti of a seated couple is adorned with yellow and red marigold garlands, and a golden arch frames the shrine. Brass lamp stands flank the altar, a white marble seated figure and a draped orange cloth lie in front, and red curtains hang at the right. The scene suggests an evening puja with aarti, with lamps and garlands arranged around the deities.2010-01-02 +1 copiesJune 10 20142014-06-10Temple-style ritual hall with a red and gold setting.
