A shaved-headed male priest in white ritual dhoti and shawl with gold borders stands outdoors before a low ritual setup. He tilts a clear glass vessel over a brass lamp or kalasha, pouring liquid, with a microphone on a stand beside him. Potted plants line a red-brick wall with white and red striped base, and a sign reading Sri Ashram is partly visible at top. Brass vessels sit on a purple mat and dark cloth in front of him, and a rudraksha mala hangs on his chest, with vertical tilak on his forehead. The setting suggests a puja or abhishekam at an ashram courtyard.December 26 20102010-12-26 +3 copiesA shaven-headed priest sits cross-legged behind a fire pit with a bright flame, performing a homa. He wears white ritual cloth with gold borders, a rudraksha mala, and white vibhuti lines on his forehead, and gestures with one hand while holding a steel plate of grains. Brass and copper vessels, a ladle, a bell, dry twigs, and an open book sit on the altar, with a microphone in front of him. Red cloth and green leaves lie at the bottom edge, and a terracotta-coloured wall and pillar stand behind under a covered walkway.December 26 20102010-12-26A shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and shawl sits cross-legged beside a fire pit, holding a handheld bell and a lit oil lamp on a long silver-stand. He wears a heavy gold necklace with a pendant and a bangle on his wrist, with a white vertical forehead mark. Brass bowls with yellow flower petals and a bundle of dried sticks sit on a stone ledge in front of him, with smoke rising from the fire. Behind him, a red and white striped wall and green plants frame the outdoor ritual, while seated men in the background watch.2011-12-17December 31 20112011-12-31Outdoor homa scene at an ashram courtyard. A single priest in white dhoti and shawl with gold-bordered orange-gold edges, wearing a rudraksha-style bead mala, stands at a fire pit lined with white cloth and flower garlands, pouring an offering from a ladle. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha pot with red flowers, bowls and a tray sit on the platform. Behind him is a red metal ring-frame structure, orange-walled buildings, coconut palms and rows of small stone figures. A hanging orange lantern hangs at top left. The priest's appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described by role.2010-12-26December 17 20112011-12-17April AF 2012December 17 20112011-12-17October 29 20112011-10-29April AF 2012
